A Tip to Help with Your New Years Resolutions
According to the US and World Report, the failure rate for New Year’s resolutions is about 80 percent. Most fail by mid-February. Of course, on most people’s lists of resolutions is exercise may and losing weight. A very important factor in exercising and losing weight is consistency which hopefully over time turns into a strong habit. One of the things that keeps us from exercising is the amount of time it takes and at times, the exercise just turns mundane.
High-intensity interval training (HIIT) may be a great solution for keeping your New Year’s resolutions. The exercises don’t take as much time and this type of training allows for variety (so you won’t get too bored). HIIT has been shown to improve cholesterol profiles and insulin sensitivity. It also reduces deep abdominal and visceral fat.
